ARTS 125 - Film Appreciation

Students learn to appreciate films through the,critical analysis of various elements of,mise-en-scene, cinematography, editing and sound.,The course introduces the conventions of classical,Hollywood cinema, considers the work of one major,director (auteur), and surveys selected,international and independent films. Students view,and discuss films each week.
