WEBD 310 - Server-Side Scripting - PHP Students learn about Common Gateway Interface,(CGI) applications and how to create them. CGI is,the method by which a Web server can obtain data,from, or send data to databases, documents, and,other programs, and display that data to viewers,via the Web. A CGI can be written in many,programming languages, but Practical Extraction,and Report Language (PERL) is the language used in,this course. Students will practice CGI,programming through homework assignments and an,ongoing project in which they will plan, design,and implement a simple Web-based shopping cart,application. Prerequisites: WEBD-125, CMIT-200 Credits: 3
