LAN 310 - French III This course uses a multimedia, interactive and individualized approach to language study at the intermediate level. Its topics will be tailored to the student’s fields of interest focusing on practical communication, conversational listening, writing and reading skills. The course prepares students for social, travel and professional experience in French-speaking settings. In addition to these applications, the course prepares students to use French for access to the Web through an introduction to vocabulary idiomatic expressions and grammatical constructions appropriate to francophone environments. (The “intermediate level” referred to here corresponds to the published standards of the ACTFL, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.) Prerequisites: LAN-210 or permission of the Dean. Credits: 3 CCM
