MGT 331 - Human Resource Management II This course provides students an in-depth exposure to the management of human resources (HR) with an emphasis on the continuing support, development and retention of employees. We discuss the use of performance appraisals; traditional and incentive-based compensation plans; employee benefits programs; OSHA and workplace safety; employee and employer rights; unions, labor relations and collective bargaining; and global HR issues. Upon completion of this course students should be able to participate actively in the administration of a broad HR program. (Spring only) Prerequisites: MGT-330 Credits: 3 BUS
