EMM 700 - Thesis Development and Defense Through previous and concurrent Thesis Process and Project course work (EMM-625 and/or EMM-628), the student will finalize iterations of both the written embodiment and conceptual prototype toward a presentation and public showing, with the guidance of an advisor chosen from among the Full Time faculty. While the thesis project may not be fully realized, the student will present a Master’s body of work in tangible form that demonstrates the highest standards of technical and aesthetic quality. Once installed for public display, the student will present the written thesis to a faculty panel which will recommend a grade to the thesis advisor, who will normally also be present for the defense.
Offered Fall, Spring and Summer. Prerequisite(s): This course may be elected during the student’s final semester, or after all course work has been completed. Credit(s): 3
