MATH 115 - Fundamentals of Mathematics This course is intended for students not specializing in quantitative-based programs of study. Foundations of Mathematics is a survey of contemporary topics in mathematics with an emphasis on application. Topics presented include set notation, number theory, probability and descriptive statistics, logic, algebra, plane geometry, and consumer mathematics. Coverage centers on an assortment of real-world examples and applications, demonstrating the usefulness, relevance, and attractiveness of mathematics. Credits: 3
