CRJ 215 - Illegal Drug Use in America

Students will examine illegal drug use and the criminal justice system in America. Students will become aware of the illegal drug challenge from historical, sociological, and criminal justice perspectives. Students will address the different types of drugs, gang involvement, illegal drug trade, applicable Federal and State laws, law enforcement agencies combating the challenge, and how courts are responding to the growing problem.
