BANL 550 - Applied Business Analytics Students explore a business analytics application with a primary focus on marketing analytics, which identifies patterns in data to inform marketing strategies (analytic price modeling, consumer choice, new product development, market segmentation, customer acquisition and retention, and digital marketing). Student teams select an area of applied business analytics to examine, researching from a theoretical and applied basis, developing models and sharing findings with others students. Students also form teams for the capstone and undertake preliminary research on the capstone project. Prerequisites Complete MKTG-200 or equivalent and BANL-540. Credit(s): 6
