Champlain College Teacher Apprenticeship Program (TAP) is a Vermont Agency of Education’s approved teacher preparation program. TAP trains individuals with a bachelor’s degree and strong content knowledge and work experience who are interested in pursuing a teaching career. TAP is an 8-month full-time non-degree certification that includes over 100 hours of teacher training and an 18 week student teaching practicum in a Vermont school. TAP recommends candidates for licensure directly to the Vermont Agency of Education upon completion of program requirements.
