Regional Studies Track

Students focus their electives to the study a particular region/countries, including advanced language courses (e.g. the Middle East, South America, Asian Studies); students following this track need to have the specific region approved by the Director of Global Studies after officially declaring the minor.

Choose from the following:

COR 330 - Local Contexts, Global Connect - Any section about the region/country of the student’s focus region
Up to six credits of a foreign language relevant to the student’s focus region
Any course offered outside of the Core with a focus on a specific region/country relevant to the student’s course of study (e.g. CCM 301 - Montreal: Emerging Media and Innovation; CRJ 150 - American Correctional System; ENG 335 - Cultural Immersion Through Irish Lit: The Dublin Literary Experience)
