Cybersecurity Thread (24 credits)

Required Courses

The 24-credit thread provides a strong foundation in Cybersecurity which can readily integrate with other areas of study. It includes three System courses, two Network courses, and three Cybersecurity courses. This combination provides students with both applied technical skills as well as strong comprehension of critical cybersecurity topics.

Students will take all eight of these courses:

NET 150 - Network Fundamentals
NET 215 - Network Protocols
SEC 250 - Computer & Network Security
SEC 260 - Web and Applications Security
SEC 345 - Information Assurance
SYS 140 - Systems Fundamentals
SYS 255 - System Admin & Network Services I
SYS 320 - Automation and Scripting
