Data Science Thread (33 credits)

Course Block 1

These are introductory building blocks of data science thread and students can choose to take them all in the first semester or divide them between the first and third semesters. All are Fall only courses.

BUS 110 - Business and the Entrepreneurial Mindset
CSI 160 - Python Programming
MTH 180 - Statistics, Introduction to

Course Block 2

Students will take these courses either in the second semester or second year of the thread, depending on if they choose to complete the introductory sequence in the first semester or year.

CSI 260 - Advanced Python
MTH 280 - Applied Statistics
DAT 210 - Introduction to Data Analytics

Course Block 3

These courses students can take any time between their second and fourth years. They will have to complete the introductory and intermediate courses first.

DAT 410 - Machine Learning
DAT 420 - Forecasting & Predictive Analysis
DAT 430 - Data Visualization
