Education Thread (33 Credits)


Required Foundation Courses (9 credits)


PLEASE NOTE: EDU 335 IS TWO CREDITS. THE ONE-CREDIT EHS 210, SOCIAL JUSTICE INTENSIVE MAY BE REPLACED BY ANY EHS ONE- CREDIT COURSE IN THE SUITE OF EHS COURSES AS DIRECTED BY ADVISOR DEPENDING ON THE OTHER THREAD/MINOR INTEGRATED WITH THIS 33 CREDIT THREAD. 

Required Developmental Psychology Course (3 credits)


Choose ONE  psychogology course that aligns with developmental range relevant to course of study.  (3 credits)

Required Literacy Course (3 credits)


Choose one, 3- credit Literacy course that aligns with chosen program goals. 

Field-based Course (3 credits)


Choose one of the following 3-Credit EDU or EHS Field-Based Courses.

Note: The EHS 300 Inquiry and Advocacy (Dublin or Montreal) is an option for those studying abroad.

Elective EDU or EHS Courses (15 credits)


Students choose 15 credits of elective courses to add to the 18 credits of foundational courses  from among the following Education Courses (or EHS courses as directed by advisor).  These may include choosing one-credit EHS courses and with permission of M.Ed. Program Director, select Graduate Education Courses (GEE) from the M.Ed Program.
